Remote desktop connection manager

If you are working with a large number of server and user operating systems from Microsoft and you often visit them on the protocol RDP, then mstsc.exe there is an alternative. In this case, you have a free “native” solution in the form of the program Remote Desktop Connection Manager.

You can download it from the official site of Microsoft. It supports all versions of server operating systems, starting with the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating system and the user, starting with Windows Vista. For Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP you need to update them to RDP version 6 (or higher). RDCM is primarily centralized management tool RDP-sessions. In the settings window available a large number of options. Ask the name of the group, set up in the Logon Credentials the user settings for the server access to all machines in the group. In our case it is the domain administrator domenadmin.

The active option Inherit from parent you can take the settings specified not in the group, and in the directory above. If you leave here daw, the parameters are taken from the configuration test. If you shoot, you have to ask them for this group separately.

In the following tabs you are given the opportunity to change the display settings, set the gateway, change the port forwarding options etc.

Create a group, it should add a server, only now as an object, which we will create a server, select a group already. Created server will take all the settings from the group office1.

Connect to the whole group at once, you can by clicking on its name and choosing Connenct Group. We’ll get the right thumbnail desktop computers, joined. Using a remote desktop connection manager simplifies the connection between multiple computers.
